    RECOMMENDED USE: Patients at risk for falls.

    Posey Floor Cushions will effectively absorb 85% of the impact from a fall. They are made from a shock-absorbent EVA foam that is tested according to ASTM standards for its Fall Protection performance.

    Each Fall Protection Mat has three segments that fold up for compact storage when the mats are not in use. A convenient carrying handle makes them easy to move. Posey manufactures these floor cushions with non-skid bottoms that prevent them from slipping when stepped on, and they have a low profile that makes it easy for patients to step on and off.

    The two-tone style makes the cushions more visible in low light conditions, or for sight impaired patients. Cushions with beveled edges better accommodate anything that has to roll up onto the mat, such as wheelchairs, walkers and bed trays.Premium cushions and cushions with glow strips have special hard plastic on their beveled edges that reduce edge curling and help the cushions stay flat. Posey Glow Cushions have glow in the dark strips on the edge for even better visibility in the dark.

    The handles on the Safety Mats allow them to be hung behind doors. The cushions can even be connected together with built-in hook and loop straps to create a complete perimeter around a bed or other area. All cushion styles have vinyl covers that easily wipe clean.
