    Patterson Medical AmTrykes For Children

    A perennial favorite with children who cannot manage a regular tricycle because of low tone, spina bifida, lower extremity paralysis or cerebral palsy. The motivating machines increase strength and endurance, spatial orientation, motor planning, reciprocating motor patterns and range of motion. Children propel the trikes with arm and/or leg power. Available in Regular size (for children 3-8 years old) and Large size (for children 8 and older) with steering lock pin for three steering positions: AmTrykes have a rugged hand crank and enclosed chain drive, safety chest and lap straps, footrests with velcro straps for feet, and 4-way adjustable seating. Some assembly required.

    They also feature spokeless wheels and pneumatic tires.
    Safety helmet included and adult supervision recommended.
