    This daily living aid activity apron helps to aid in the redeveloping of fine motor skills. Threading of shoestrings and buttoning buttons target these skill areas for improved coordination. The bright colors and different textures are visually stimulating.
    Posey Activity Apron can also attach to a tray or lap-hugger. The clear picture frame can hold the photo of a family member or friend. The activity apron also protects clothing. It comes in blue and is machine washable.

    My 85 yr. old mother has Alzheimer's and was supplied with a Posey apron during a recent hospital stay. It distracted her from trying to pull off bandages/pull out IV's.  As a former crotcheter, the large pieces are easy for her arthritic hands to manipulate.  I ordered one for her home use and was rewarded with a big smile when she opened the package. She works the parts all the time and the primary colors are visually stimulating. Cheaper versions exist on line, put note reviewers comments on shoddy construction--not this product!  What you pay for, is what you get.
